Class 1 HGV Driver - Ad Hoc Shop Deliveries (Lockerbie)
We're looking for experienced Class 1 (Category C+E) drivers based in or around Lockerbie to join our team on an ad hoc basis, delivering to retail shops.
Pay Rates:
* Standard Days (Mon-Fri): £19.00 per hour
* Saturdays: £20.00 per hour
* Sundays: £22.34 per hour
Hours & Shifts:
* Start times typically 4:00-5:00am
* Average shift: 8 hours
* Ad hoc - work as and when required
Job Details:
* Store deliveries (palletised goods)
* Occasional manual handling may be required
* Deliveries mainly to local and regional areas
* Professional, customer-facing role
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Minimum 12 months' experience driving Class 1 vehicles
* Good knowledge of UK road networks and drivers' hours regulations
* Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
