Teaching Assistant – SEND Provision – BL6 Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? We are currently recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work within a SEND provision in the BL6 area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support, both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping pupils access learning and develop socially and emotionally. The Role: Supporting pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) Delivering targeted interventions and differentiated activities Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation Assisting with personal care where required Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment The Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience working with children or young people with SEND Be patient, resilient, and empathetic Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills Be a team player with excellent communication skills Hold a relevant TA qualification (Level 2/3 desirable but not essential) This role is based in a supportive and well-resourced provision in BL6, with strong leadership and a welcoming staff team.
