A globally recognised manufacturer of critical aerospace components is urgently seeking 2 CNC Turners to support a surge in demand on a 13-week contract.
The Role
To support project requirements, youll be turning parts in Inconel with use machine tools with Fanuc controllers
Key responsibilities include:
Loading and unloading tooling to carry out machining operations
Working to fine tolerances across a range of materials
Performing visual and dimensional inspections
Using precision measuring equipment (shadowgraph, gauges, verniers)
Operating one or more CNC machines simultaneously
Ensuring all products meet customer and internal standards (including NADCAP and AS9100)
What Were Looking For
Youll be a skilled, detail-focused engineer with experience in precision manufacturing
Essential:
Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship or equivalent)
Minimum 6 years experience in a precision manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred but not essential)
Strong experience xsngvjr with Fanuc controls
Ability to work to tight tolerances and strict quality standards
Experience working to production targets
Self-inspection with use of hand tools, eg micrometers, vernier calipers
