Job summary
The exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 consultant psychiatrists to work into the treatment and intervention team in ton North is a busy and high functioningCMHT. The majority of referrals come from the Access service however do alsoreceive from Crisis, Primary Care MH Services and Liaison Services.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be expected to provide appropriatesupervision to junior medical staff and non-medical prescribers within theteam.
The post holder will be expected to have familiarity with allimportant, relevant legislation affecting the Adult Mental Health population.

Qualifications

1. MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
2. Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
3. Eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of gaining CCT
4. Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment
5. Approved under S12 OR able to achieve with 3 months of appointment

6. Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management.
