We're working with an established tech company looking for a Lead Software Developer to take ownership of a small engineering team and help drive quality across their product suite.
You'll be hands-on in both code and leadership, setting the standard for best practice development and acting as the go-to technical expert when challenges arise. This is a great opportunity to step into a high-impact role where your decisions will shape the future of their platform.
What you'll be doing
* Leading and mentoring a small development team
* Building and improving systems using .NET Core and SQL Server
* Acting as the technical escalation point when blockers arise
* Driving improvements in DevOps, architecture and development processes
* Designing software that is secure, scalable and performant
* Collaborating with stakeholders and keeping progress visible across the business
What we're looking for
* Deep experience with .NET Core and the wider Microsoft tech stack
* Strong skills in C# and T-SQL
* Leadership experience or a natural interest in team progression
* Good understanding of cloud infrastructure, ideally Azure
* Experience with DevOps processes such as pipelines and automated testing
* A hands-on problem solver who takes ownership and drives delivery
