Electrical Architect/Engineer – European Foundation for Business Qualification (EFBQ)

Our client, a trusted partner of the UK Ministry of Defence, is seeking a skilled Electrical Architect/Engineer to oversee all aspects of missile development, from initial concept to series production and in-service support. Key Responsibilities
* Design the electrical architecture, missile system, and launcher requirements.
* Define the electrical architecture based on requirements, establishing the power architecture and safety design.
* Define interface characteristics between subsystems.
* Determine requirements for EMC, bonding, grounding, and screening.
* Support test activities and review/author guidelines and processes related to design.
Alternative – Equipment Manager (RMO)
* Project manage the equipment(s) on behalf of the project during development, qualification, and manufacture.
* Produce Statement(s) of Work for the associated design authority.
* Technically manage internal & external suppliers to deliver the equipment(s) work packages to time, cost, quality, and performance requirements.
* Review qualification verification evidence and control assigned budget(s) for both activities and manage your workload.
Qualifications
* Electrical/Electronics/Systems engineering experience (essential).
* Interfaces; Data communication.
* Knowledge of defence/industry standards, etc.
* HND or Degree level qualification in a related subject; ideally defence‑related background.
* Experience in Systems Engineering.
* Writing reports.
Desirable Experience
* Power supplies; Sensors; Actuators; Defence; Weapon Systems.
* Health Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS).
* Model Based Engineering (MBE).
* EMC.
* ATEX regulations.
