Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, and soft drinks.
* Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
* Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible serving practices at all times.
* Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic math skills for processing payments.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
* Manage inventory levels of bar supplies, reporting any shortages or issues to management.
* Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest inquiries and resolving any concerns.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, showcasing your familiarity with the hospitality industry.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible serving guidelines.
* Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service.
