Variable hours for 38 weeks a year
£28.58 to £43.22 per hour (includes an enhancement in lieu of annual leave).
This is an exciting opportunity to join the teaching team within the Netzero Skills Centre at Suffolk New College. Our growing provision for Green Skills includes a demand from local employers to work together to train the next generation of technicians and engineers that can survey, plan, cost, fit, commission, maintain and service systems that control climates in residential and commercial premises. This post is based at Suffolk New College Ipswich. However, Suffolk New College is a multi-campus site; therefore, you may be required to work at and travel between campuses.
Responsibilities
* Teach within the Netzero Skills Centre and contribute to the Green Skills provision.
* Share industry knowledge and expertise to support students in surveying, planning, costing, fitting, commissioning, maintaining and servicing climate control systems for residential and commercial premises.
* Be prepared to work across multiple campus sites as required.
* Engage with industry to help shape curriculum and provide real-world insights.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience working in the real world, on-site, and in industry.
* Ability to relate to individuals from non-teaching backgrounds and help develop teaching skills with support from the college.
