Volunteering with St John Ambulance strengthens communities. From youth support and education to wellbeing, events, and fundraising; your time makes a real impact.
Youth Leaders work directly with young people in St John Ambulance Badger Setts and Cadet Units. By organising a mixed weekly programme, this role supports the learning and development of young people into the next generation of health citizens. Youth Leaders also help young people develop their confidence, teamwork skills, self-discipline, and encourage them to strive to be the best they can be. They supervise and support other adult volunteers in their team.
You'll gain a sense of satisfaction and pride from delivering an essential service. It’s beneficial for you, your community, and the nation, requiring only a small time commitment.
We are recruiting for locations including Cobham Cadets.
There is no fixed closing date, but recruitment may pause if oversubscribed. If interested, please apply promptly. If you are not already a volunteer, after providing some brief details, you will be invited to an interview with our Welcome Team. We will check you meet the minimum criteria and then invite you to a Youth Team interview to determine your suitability for the role.
