Job Description
Purchase Ledger Supervisor responsibilities:
3. Oversee the processing of invoices and payments
4. Manage the monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
5. Ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions
6. Supervise a small team, providing guidance and support
7. Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries
8. Maintain the integrity of the purchase ledger
9. Prepare reports and analysis for management review
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchase Ledger Supervisor should have:
11. A strong academic background in Accounting or Finance
12. Proven experience in a similar role
13. Excellent leadership skills
14. Strong knowledge of financial systems and procedures, in particular SAP
15. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
16. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
17. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
18. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
