Cover Supervisor – Worcestershire Are you looking for flexible, rewarding work in education? First for Education is recruiting supply Cover Supervisors to support a range of middle schools across Worcestershire on a day-to-day and short-term basis. This role is ideal for confident individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable school-based experience without the commitment of a full-time contract. About the Role: * Position: Supply Cover Supervisor * Location: Worcestershire (multiple middle schools) * Start Date: Ongoing, flexible start * Contract: Supply basis – day-to-day, short-term, and potentially long-term cover * Pay: £90–£120 per day As a supply Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into classrooms where work is pre-set and supervise pupils in the absence of their usual teacher. You’ll maintain a positive learning environment and ensure that school policies are followed. This role is perfect for those who enjoy variety and want to work flexibly around other commitments. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise lessons across Key Stage 2 and 3 (Years 5–8) in middle schools. There may also be work available for you in Secondary Schools working in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. * Deliver pre-planned work and manage behaviour in line with school expectations * Adapt quickly to new environments and routines * Provide feedback to teaching staff after lessons where required * Support pupils in staying on task and engaged in their learning We’re Looking For: * Experience working with children or young people (e.g., in schools, youth work, coaching, mentoring) * Confidence in managing a classroom environment * Flexibility and reliability * Good communication and interpersonal skills * A proactive, positive attitude Why Work with First for Education?
