We are hiring a nurturing and enthusiastic Foundation 1 (F1) Teacher to join a welcoming school in Derby, supporting young children at the very start of their educational journey through engaging, play-based experiences.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a creative and patient F1 Teacher who can provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children feel confident to explore and develop.
The Role:
* Plan and deliver activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
* Support communication, language, and early numeracy development
* Encourage social skills, independence, and positive behaviour
* Observe, assess, and record progress to inform next steps
* Work closely with parents, carers, and support staff
What You’ll Bring:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification
* Strong understanding of early childhood development and EYFS practice
* A caring, organised, and creative approach to teaching
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
