About the role
This role places you at the forefront of our Business Centre, a fast-paced and challenging environment where you'll influence customer service directly. You will manage a team of over 40 colleagues and serve as Duty Manager periodically, playing a key part in the store's management team. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in Food Wholesaling.
You will be responsible for
* Ensuring team compliance with legal standards and company procedures.
* Training your team in cash handling to minimize losses.
* Controlling debt and recovering overdue or failed payments.
* Maintaining accurate payroll records.
* Engaging with customers to resolve issues and improve service based on their feedback.
* Coordinating with other department Supervisors on delivery orders.
* Managing a customer-focused team at reception and checkout areas.
You will need
* A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
* Flexibility, adaptability, and enjoyment in managing a team.
* Strong communication skills with some supervisory or management experience.
* Practical retail trade experience.
