About SENAD Community
The SENAD Group is an independent provider of special needs schools, transition homes, supported care, and community support services for individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs. Since 2003, the Group has operated schools in the East Midlands, West Midlands, and Wales, welcoming students from across the UK and overseas.
The organisation also runs community-based transition homes, helping young adults develop independent living skills, as well as adult residential homes for individuals needing higher levels of care. Its community support service assists people and their families at home or in the community, with offices in Derby and Coventry serving the East and West Midlands.
The SENAD Group’s services are located in Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Herefordshire, Northamptonshire, and Dolgellau, Wales, with a central office team based in Derby providing support to all operations.
Position: Support Worker
Salary: £12.00 per hour

About the Role:

Duties:
* Up to 28 days holiday with consistent working patterns

The service is 24 hour’s, 7 day a week- therefore you must be flexible in your availability (both waking night & sleeps are available)- we are recruiting for permanent roles both full & part time.
We are seeking support workers to work with a diverse group of individuals, who may have one/some of the following challenges:
* Acquired brain injuries
* Mental health needs
* Learning and/or physical disabilities
* Autism
* Drug/Alcohol misuse
* Forensic backgrounds
* Homelessness
About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and flexible individual with excellent communication skills who share our passion for making a positive impact on people’s lives.
The role does not require any previous experience as full training will be provided, rather we are looking for someone who shares our vision and ethos and is able to demonstrate positive values.
It is crucial that the person in this role understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality and always showing respect and dignity to those they are supporting.
