The Senior Finance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the companys accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls and supporting strategic financial decision-making. This role acts as a key link between day-to-day finance operations and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
2. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
3. Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP) and statutory regulations
4. Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes
5. Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies
6. Coordinate external audits and act as the main point of contact for auditors
7. Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance against targets
8. Provide financial analysis and reports to support business decision-making
9. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
