About The Role
PwC’s Business Partnering teams work closely with our employees across the firm, informing our leaders on key decisions that drive the business forward.
We rely on our Business Partnering teams to be proactive, honest, build relationships, influence, understand, challenge, and translate numbers into a compelling business story.
To support our growth, PwC is evolving its Business Partnering teams by creating specialized Lead roles. These roles will focus on key areas, driving expertise, best practices, and acting as a point of contact for leadership to drive growth and deliver insights to Finance Directors, COOs, and other leaders.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with FC CoE and Finance Leads to implement and monitor financial controls, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and serving as a subject matter expert.
* Engage early in bid/contract reviews with Finance Leads to advise on policy and contract structuring, preventing revenue recognition issues.
* Review high-risk engagements with FC CoE and Finance teams to ensure proper accounting treatment according to revenue policies and IFRS.
* Manage month-end and year-end closures, ensuring accurate financial reporting and process improvements following audits.
* Promote best practices in client management and risk, supporting transactional processes in collaboration with support providers.
* Drive continuous improvement in financial controls, support audits, and collaborate to provide commercial insights for financial strategy.
Candidate Profile
* Possess an ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification.
* Experience in designing and implementing financial controls, managing month-end and year-end reporting.
* Strong technical accounting knowledge and application of standards.
* Ability to challenge senior stakeholders effectively.
* Strong analytical skills for deep financial analysis.
* Experience facilitating external audits.
