Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Injection Mould Toolmaker, located on-site in Middleton. The Injection Mould Toolmaker will manufacture, maintain, and repair injection mould tools to ensure they meet precise specifications. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, using precision equipment, setting up and operating machinery, performing regular maintenance, and troubleshooting issues to optimise performance.
Qualifications
* Experience with toolmaking, maintenance, and repair of injection mould tools
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
* Skilled in using precision tools and operating machinery (e.g., Charmilles, Mikron, Roeders)
* Knowledge of DFM, mould flow analysis, and quality systems, such as ISO 9001:2008
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
* Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in toolmaking or a related field
* Previous experience in a similar role within the injection moulding industry is an advantage
