Maintenance Technician

Monday to Friday 42.5 hours per week

What we are looking for:
Join our experienced team, carrying out a wide range of high-quality repairs across Livin’s domestic, communal, and commercial properties. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively, primarily focusing on external works within the repairs team. However, you may also be required to support void properties depending on service demand.

The role involves working in tenanted homes as well as communal and commercial spaces under the Livin contract, with tasks including groundworks and internal property repairs.

Role Responsibilities:
1. Carry out high-standard general repairs across tenanted housing properties
2. Complete refurbishment activities in both residential and communal areas
3. Perform groundworks and internal property repairs as required
4. Ensure all work meets safety, quality and cost control standards
5. Deliver best-in-class customer service while working in occupied homes
6. Operate within the Livin contract across tenanted, commercial and communal spaces
7. Contribute to maintaining safe, well-presented and habitable living environments
8. Collaborate with team members to uphold professional standards and community impact
Key Criteria:
9. Experience in the above responsibilities
10. Proven experience in general property repairs, refurbishment or maintenance
11. Ability to carry out groundworks and internal repairs to a high standard
12. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and safe working practices
13. Excellent customer service skills, especially when working in tenanted properties
14. Ability to work independently and as part of a team across varied environments
15. Good organisational skills with a focus on quality and cost control
16. Comfortable working in both residential and communal areas under contract guidelines
17. A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering practical solutions
18. Full UK driving licence
19. Experience in plastering, pointing, brick repairs
20. IT Literate
