Job Description
* Oversee procurement activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
* Manage contracts, including renewals and negotiations, to secure favourable terms.
* Provide administrative support to the procurement and supply chain department.
* Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
* Monitor and report on procurement performance and budget adherence.
* Ensure all procurement documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
* Offer excellent customer service to internal stakeholders regarding procurement needs.
* Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement & Contracts Officer should have:
* Experience in procurement or contract management, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills.
* Customer service expertise and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
* Knowledge of commercial practices and contract negotiation.
* Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Proficiency in relevant software and tools for procurement processes.
