We are working in partnership with a leading care provider to recruit an experienced and dynamic Nursing Home Manager to oversee a large, well-established service. This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven leader to manage a high-capacity nursing home, ensuring the delivery of outstanding person-centred care and the highest regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strong, visible, and inspirational leadership to a large multidisciplinary team.
* Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring compliance with CQC and all statutory regulations.
* Drive high standards of clinical governance, safeguarding, and care quality across all aspects of the home.
* Develop, implement, and monitor care strategies to meet the diverse needs of residents.
* Lead recruitment, retention, training, and development initiatives to build and sustain a high-performing workforce.
* Maintain robust financial oversight, ensuring the home operates within budget while maximising occupancy and service quality.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and professional development.
* Act as the Registered Manager with CQC, ensuring full accountability for the service's performance.
* Build and sustain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, commissioners, regulators, and the wider community.
About You
The successful candidate will be a motivated, resilient, and commercially astute leader with a passion for delivering exceptional nursing care in a large, complex service.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Nursing Home Manager in a medium-to-large nursing home.
* Strong clinical background (RGN / RMN / RNLD qualification preferred).
* In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and quality frameworks.
* Proven track record of improving CQC ratings and maintaining compliance.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
