Job Summary
We are a fast growing business providing business to business services for SME's and large corporate organisations. We are currently looking for an experienced accounts manager who can work either independently or as part of a small team. Our business is varied and demanding.
Duties
* Manage a portfolio of client accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for all account-related inquiries.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
* Utilise accounting software Xero to manage financial transactions and reporting.
* Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
* Collaborate with internal teams to address client concerns and deliver tailored solutions.
* Prepare regular reports on account status, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
* Work closely with the company's firm of accounts on all aspects including VAT reconciliation.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar role within the finance or accounting sector.
* Strong knowledge of accounting software Xero or similar platforms.
* Familiarity with accounts payable processes and financial reporting.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
* Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
