What We Do

Wise Living is an exciting and rapidly growing business, which provides high-quality, purpose-built single and multi family housing for the private rental market.

Our aim is to revolutionise the private rental sector by challenging existing standards, creating and nurturing communities and, ultimately driving better living standards for our customers and tenants with an ambition to deliver 2,000 new homes each year.

We offer our institutional investor clients a one stop service under one roof covering all parts of the process from site identification and development through to letting, management and maintenance of the properties.

Your life as a Lettings Administrator

Having had experience of working in the lettings industry you will thrive on finding tenants for our properties. As a Lettings Administrator your main responsibility will be taking enquiries in respect of our existing properties available for let and for properties at new sites in the initial leasing up phase.

You'll provide a fantastic customer experience both over the telephone and by email. Minimising the void periods on our properties on both existing sites and on new units will be one of your main performance indicators. Using the tools and training made available to you, you will aim to reserve as many applications "off plan" as possible.

Once a tenant is found you will ensure they meet with our criteria before progressing this application through to the reference stage. You will be expected to build a good working knowledge of our sites, property styles and unit availability so that you are able to best advise any potential tenant in a professional manner.

This role would be based from our Chilwell office two days a week, and from home the remaining three days.

What you'll do

* Build and maintain great relationships with customers and deliver an outstanding service.
* Answer calls and respond to emails regarding lettings enquiries within KPI expectations, with a strong knowledge of what stock is available.
* Ensure void periods are kept to a minimum.
* Progress tenancy applications including completing and recording Right to Rent checks.
* Following key management procedures to ensure accuracy and security.
* Comply with lone worker location service policies and procedures.

Who we're looking for

We want to find a self-starter with property lettings and management experience who loves talking to customers, and is passionate about both property and delivering a fantastic customer experience.

* Experience in the property lettings industry
* A good standard of education with strong numeracy and literacy skills
* The ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
* Experience of working effectively in a fast-paced environment
* The kind of flexible, positive attitude that makes for excellent service and teamwork.
* The ability to manage their own workload, prioritise tasks and use time productively
* A willingness to learn and develop their skills and knowledge
* Eligibility to work in the UK and everything it takes to successfully complete preemployment screening

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week
