Offer description

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality and professional business management administration and support across the entire function. Your duties will include supporting the smooth operation of the DDaT Directorate, attending relevant boards and committees, preparing papers, and accurately recording minutes, actions, and decisions. You will handle sensitive and confidential materials, ensure timely processing of orders, invoicing, and payments, and organize various meetings, workshops, and forums while maintaining high professional standards.

Main duties of the job

What we need from you:

* Collating papers, preparing reports, and monitoring supplier performance against statements of work, capturing minutes, and communicating outcomes to stakeholders
* Supporting communication and engagement strategies across DDaT
* Contributing to governance processes, standards, and tools, enhancing organisational maturity
* Collaborating across DDaT and external bodies, managing audits, and updating product roadmaps within financial systems

Job responsibilities

In this role, you are accountable for:

* Coaching and mentoring team members
* Updating policies, resources, and performance metrics
* Managing management information, risk registers, and documentation
* Supporting governance activities and audit processes
* Gathering information for performance dashboards and risk assessments
* Preparing reports, managing supplier relationships, and overseeing procurement and asset management
* Representing the team in meetings and supporting decision-making processes
* Undertaking additional duties aligned with your role, promoting NHSBSA values, and supporting diversity and safety policies


Working relationships

Responsible to: Business Operations and License Manager

Key contacts include senior managers, government departments, and external partners within the digital and health sectors.

Experience

* Business administration and reporting experience

Qualifications

* NVQ3 or relevant experience
* Continuous professional development evidence
* Relevant IT framework qualifications (e.g., ITIL, COBIT)
