Senior Associate - Commercial Property - Cardiff - 5+ years PQE

Salary: £65,000 to £80,000
Chadwick Nott are pleased to be working with a well‑established regional law firm currently seeking a Senior Associate to join their Commercial Property team in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior lawyer looking to work on a varied and high‑quality caseload within a collaborative and forward‑thinking environment.
The Role
* Advising a diverse client base across sectors including housing and third sector
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of property‑related legal documents
* Managing complex caseloads and providing strategic legal guidance
* Supervising junior team members and offering mentoring support
* Engaging in business development and attending networking events
* Maintaining technical competence and staying up to date with legal developments
* Leading by example in line with SRA competence standards
Candidate Requirements
* 5+ years PQE in commercial property
* Experience in the housing sector or with third sector clients (advantageous)
* Strong technical legal knowledge and drafting skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* High attention to detail and ability to manage complex caseloads
* A proactive, team‑oriented approach with leadership capabilities
