Job Description
You will also support the wider Payroll Team in delivering an exceptional employee experience through precise processing of new starters, leavers, job changes, and personal details.
This role will contribute to payroll mobilisation for new TUPE contracts, assist with compliance activity, and help ensure strong governance across all payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accurately process payroll data and complete input control checks in line with payroll deadlines.
2. Enter starter, leaver, and employee change data via T&A systems for fortnightly employees.
3. Carry out input validation checks to ensure data accuracy.
4. Administer hourly timesheets and manually input required data.
5. Input additional hours and absence information into the payroll system.
6. Ensure seasonal adjustments and Agenda for Change (AfC) terms and conditions are processed correctly.
7. Support the Payroll Delivery Manager with ad hoc duties during key stages of the payroll cycle.
8. Provide high-quality customer service to employees and the wider business.
9. Assist with TUPE payroll mobilisation activities within the central Payroll Team.
10. Open, sort, and distribute incoming post; handle calls and emails in a timely manner.

14. Confident with IT systems, including Excel, Outlook, and handling large volumes of data.

16. Flexible and adaptable, able to support the team during peak periods.
17. Understanding of GDPR and data protection principles.
18. Strong relationship-builder with the ability to work well within a team and with internal stakeholders.
19. Able to work independently and show initiative.
