- £45,000 About the company We are looking for a proactive Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team at a fast-paced food manufacturing site.
You'll play a key role in ensuring plant, equipment, buildings and services operate safely, efficiently and in full compliance with legislative and food safety standards.
This is a hands-on role with strong involvement in planned preventative maintenance, continuous improvement, and project delivery, working closely with operations and external contractors.

- Requirements Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent experience) Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, ideally within food or FMCG manufacturing Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems Good understanding of Health & Safety and food manufacturing compliance At least 3 years' experience in food or a closely related industry Maintenance Engineer
- Responsibilities Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on production and site equipment Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on food processing and packaging machinery Support equipment installations, upgrades, and engineering projects Ensure all maintenance activities are accurately recorded and documented Promote and comply with Health & Safety, Environmental, Food Safety and Quality standards Support audits, inspections and loss prevention activities Identify and implement opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and cost control About Us Detail2Recruitment acts as an employment agency in respect of this position. xxuwjjq
