As a Commis Chef, you will work within a dynamic kitchen environment, supporting our experienced chefs in the preparation and cooking of high-quality meals. You will play a vital role in maintaining our standards of excellence whilst ensuring all food is prepared safely and efficiently. Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and culinary standards Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation throughout the kitchen Assist senior chefs with food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and cooking techniques Organise and maintain your workstation, ensuring all equipment and ingredients are properly stored and accessible Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including ovens, hobs, and food preparation machinery Support the kitchen team in a collaborative manner, responding promptly to requests and maintaining workflow efficiency Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring all dishes meet organisational standards before service Rotate stock appropriately and report any shortages or equipment issues to senior staff Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies at all times Assist with general kitchen cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure a hygienic working environment
