Apex Education Recruitment are seeking a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join the Additional Resource Provision (ARP) of a welcoming Primary School in Romford. The ARP supports children with ASD and we are looking for someone who brings patience, creativity and genuine enthusiasm to the role. Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm (Term time only) Special Need Teaching Assistant Responsibilities: * Supporting children with ASD within the ARP * Using a proactive, fun and engaging approach to learning * Being firm but fair, helping children understand routines and expectations. * Assisting with sensory activities, regulation strategies and learning tasks * Delivering structured interventions such as Lego Therapy * Working closely with teachers and SENCO * Helping children build confidence, independence and communication skills.
