The Senior Finance Officer role is designed to support the Financial Controller with the recording, summarising, and analysing of the organisation's financial transactions to prepare accurate, compliant financial statements. This role will provide the daily management of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Payroll and all Balance Sheet reconciliations. Being well organised, self-motivated, punctual, and flexible in their approach to work is essential as well as being a team-player.
Desirable
Relevant qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, part-qualified, qualified by experience).
Experience of Sage Line 50 and Progress Plus is beneficial.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Manage the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team and ledgers.
Provide working capital management and production of cashflow forecasts.
Control weekly supplier and expense payment runs in line with the cashflow forecast.
Administer credit control to ensure timely cash receipts in line with cash forecast.
Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries.
Administer all month-end Balance Sheet reconciliations.
