Role Summary
As a Care Team Leader, you will lead a dedicated team delivering person-centred care to adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health conditions. Your role involves coordinating care delivery, supporting staff, and ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, supervise, and support the care team to provide high-quality, compassionate care.
* Manage the rolling three-week rota, ensuring one weekend on in three is worked.
* Oversee care plans and risk assessments, ensuring they are implemented and regularly updated.
* Provide on-call support as part of the rota, paid at £10.00 per call.
* Maintain communication with families, health professionals, and other stakeholders.
* Promote a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for service users.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and safeguarding regulations.
Essential Skills and Experience
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care is essential.
* Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a care setting.
* Understanding of care needs relating to Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage rotas and lead teams effectively.
