An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join our Catering team on a permanent full-time contract. North Tees and Hartlepool Solutions is seeking to appoint an honest, enthusiastic, hardworking, and committed individual, who can work well in a team and on their own initiative. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, be self-motivated, and able to work flexibly without direct supervision. The applicant will assist in providing a comprehensive and cost-effective catering service that meets the needs of patients, staff, and visitors, fulfilling the objectives of the Trust.
Main duties of the job
1. Meeting food service delivery time-scales throughout the day
2. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in designated work areas within documented cleaning schedules, as well as ad hoc cleaning duties
3. Ensuring high standards of personal hygiene and appearance at all times
4. Ensuring high standards of food safety and H.A.C.C.P are achieved and maintained
5. Working safely in accordance with Trust Health & Safety Policies
6. Keeping accurate and complete records of refrigerator temperatures and cleaning schedules as required
7. Completing basic departmental forms and other relevant Trust documents competently
8. Working as part of a team
9. Demonstrating flexibility in approach to designated work areas
