Shift Engineer – 4 on 4 off day shift - Commercial building – Victoria, London – £50,000 Per annum
Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based in London. CBW is currently recruiting for a shift engineer to be based at a commercial building in Victoria, London. We're looking for a fully qualified mechanical or electrical engineer with a proven track record in commercial/property building maintenance who can handle a variety of maintenance tasks. He or she will be required to carry out mechanical/electrical planned and reactive maintenance across this large commercial building. Working with the maintenance team on site. He or she will be required to have an understanding/hands-on experience of the below. In return, the company offers a competitive salary, further training, and overtime.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
Emergency lighting tests
Changing Ballast
BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
Maintain and update Log books
Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
Pumps, motors
Water flushing / temp checks logs
Boosted water pumps
Ensure that the Contractual efficiently meets all the relevant KPI & SLA requirements.
Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
Requirements
Electrically or mechanically qualified - Level 2 or 3 (C&G, NVQ, EAL ect)
Experience working in a large commercial building
You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
Multi-skilled
Good communication skills
Excellent customer skills
