Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and verification of scaffolding, temporary works, and structural support systems.
Produce detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
Mentor and supervise junior engineers and design technicians.
Collaborate with project teams to deliver safe, practical, and cost-effective solutions.
Conduct site visits to assess conditions and provide technical support.
Review and approve engineering calculations, risk assessments, and method statements.
Ensure compliance with TG20, BS5975, CDM regulations, and other standards.
Identify process improvements and contribute to business development initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or related field.
Chartered or near-chartered status preferred (ICE, IStructE, or equivalent).
Experience in scaffolding, temporary works, or structural design.
Strong knowledge of TG20, BS5975, Eurocodes, and CDM regulations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, or scaffold-specific modelling tools.
Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Confident in conducting site visits and liaising with project teams.
