Hours: 37.5 per week, 9:00am - 5:30pm. Hybrid working available depending on role responsibilities with 2 days working from home and 3 days in our office close to East Croydon Station.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and growing high street retailer. We are looking for a .Net Developer to join our expanding development team. The team is working in an AGILE manner using Kanban methodology.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables. Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of software applications. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices. Generate detailed customer-focused initiatives, in line with the IT Department strategy and support with execution. Listen to the customer and implement new ideas and ways of working which are designed to improve service considering both Online and Offline, while ensuring the team prioritises actions which delight the customer/team member.
* Customer Focused: Be the voice of customers and orchestrate the organisation to live the brand purpose and inspire a customer-first culture to build customer love in every touchpoint of our O+O platform.
* Tech & AI: Help your team understand when to use AI, when to rely on human judgment, and how to combine both.
* Tech & AI: Rethink how work gets done - actively shift work from repetitive tasks to higher-value activities as AI takes on routine work.
* Tech & AI: Role modelling behaviours to encourage confidence with AI. Develop your ability to use AI effectively and think critically about outputs.

* Technical Responsibilities: Design software solutions aligned with business goals and technical requirements.
* Technical Responsibilities: Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
* Technical Responsibilities: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and API specifications.
* Technical Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to development processes.
* Technical Responsibilities: Optimize application performance and scalability through effective coding practices and system design.
* Technical Responsibilities: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
* Technical Responsibilities: Ensure the security and integrity of software applications through adherence to cybersecurity best practices.
* Technical Responsibilities: Establish strong relationships at all levels and manage tough/complex messages with stakeholders.
* Technical Responsibilities: Model collaboration to exceed goals and promote team wellbeing and diversity.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 2+ years experience as a .Net Developer or similar role.
* Strong proficiency in the .NET Stack.
* Experience developing mobile applications in Xamarin / .NET MAUI / Flutter.
* Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
* Experience with cloud computing platforms, ideally Azure.
* Proactively keeping up to date with market and consumer trends in the IT field and feeding this into IT strategy.
* Use data and insights to challenge the status quo to stay ahead of the competition.
* Use data to inform and generate new ideas and make decisions to improve future plans.
