Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior Administrator / Business Support to join our busy and friendly Connection and Retreat teams. This role offers the opportunity to provide business support, communicate with a range of people and services, and report performance and service data.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure comprehensive administrative support and provide business and performance reports using a variety of data systems.
* Provide a professional, efficient and confidential administration service; treat all correspondence with tact, diplomacy and confidentiality.
* Liaise with Access Mental Health teams to organise and deliver a safe and efficient office system supporting sound patient care.
* Support clinicians and service manager with clinical letters, appointment scheduling and other clerical duties.
* Compile agendas and take minutes for business meetings.
* Produce reports on service performance and delivery.
* Maintain excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure effective relationships at all levels within Dorset HealthCare NHS Foundation Trust and with external organisations.
* Monitor data and support service manager and team leaders in maintaining standards of service delivery.
Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience in business support and administrative duties.
* Strong data collection, analysis and report writing skills.
* Excellent organisational, multitasking and prioritisation abilities.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Knowledge of NHS or health service environment preferred.
Hours and Working Arrangement
This is a full‑time permanent role, but part‑time applications (minimum 30 hours) will be considered. Flexible working requests will always be considered.
Main base is St Ann's Hospital.
