Opportunity Overview
Johnston Memorial Hospital and Blue Ridge Radiology are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to provide services in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. Subspecialty training in Breast or Body imaging is a plus but not required.
Blue Ridge Radiology is a growing private practice with over 30 members, emphasizing subspecialized interpretations. We serve multiple hospitals within the Ballad Health system.
Fellowship training is strongly preferred; all subspecialties will be considered. The ideal candidate is comfortable with general radiology and possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Located in Abingdon, Virginia, Johnston Memorial Hospital is a 116-bed modern facility serving Southwest Virginia. Services include a 24-hour interventional cardiology program, critical care, diagnostic imaging, emergency services, women’s services, laboratory, outpatient rehab, palliative care, sleep center, surgical services, and a Regional Cancer Center.
