Technical Sales Engineer

8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

Rapid Recruit are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer on behalf of our client in Skelmersdale. Our client is expanding their reach into the aerospace, nuclear & defence industries and due to growth plans, are looking to expand their sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Frequently travel with occasional overnight stays to visit and engage with various clients.
* Conduct business development meetings to promote products.
* Independently manage scheduling and appointments, including coordinating client visits on site.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
* Provide technical expertise and support to clients throughout the sales process.
* Identify client needs and propose tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure seamless project execution.
* Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions.
Essential Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
* 7 years of proven experience in technical sales, preferably in manufacturing or engineering.
* Strong technical skills with a background in machining.
* Experience in aerospace, defence, nuclear, or similar industries.
Desirable experience:
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
* Confidence in client interactions and problem-solving.
