Who We Are Looking For
An exciting opportunity exists for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our Medical team on a fixed-term contract of up to 12 months. The role is field-based, covering the home counties, and involves providing non-promotional medical and scientific support to healthcare professionals, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely advice regarding our products and disease areas.
The ideal candidate will have strong scientific/clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, independent working style. Knowledge of the therapeutic/disease area, the ABPI Code of Practice, and the NHS environment is essential.

Purpose
To provide non-promotional medical and scientific support, develop strategic insights, and build credible relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and academic centers. The role is field-based, covering the home counties, and involves contributing to medical strategies and evidence generation activities.
Profile
The role requires scientific/clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A thorough understanding of the therapeutic area, the ABPI Code of Practice, the pharmaceutical industry, and the NHS environment is essential.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop in-depth knowledge of relevant products and disease areas
* Provide unbiased medical and scientific support to healthcare professionals
* Build and maintain relationships with KOLs and academic centers
* Gather and share insights with internal teams
* Manage UK investigator-initiated trial applications
* Contribute to UK clinical development activities
* Support medical educational activities and develop scientific presentations
* Attend scientific meetings and congresses
* Support regional commercial teams with medical and compliance advice
* Support medical social media activities
* Ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance and regulatory requirements
Role requirements
* Relevant industry experience and ability to engage with KOLs
* In-depth knowledge of the ABPI Code of Practice
* Understanding of clinical trial processes and regulations
* Knowledge of GCP and pharmacovigilance practices
* Understanding of NHS environment and partnership opportunities
* Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Ability to interpret and present complex clinical data
* Compliance with company values, SOPs, and ethical standards
* Contribute to sustainability initiatives as per annual objectives
