Responsibilities
* Supervise and support the cleaning team to ensure a safe, healthy and professional environment
* Maintain high cleaning standards, performing consistent quality control through inspection and feedback
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, COSHH requirements
* Report any relevant matters, dangers or injuries to ensure a safe environment
* Provide a caring, responsive and supportive presence
* Work closely with other staff members to ensure a positive school environment
* Maintain personal and professional development to meet changing demands of the job; participate in appropriate training activities and support staff in their development and training
* Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job
* Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection; report all concerns to an appropriate person
Requirements and Additional Information
Hours: 20 hours per week, Term Time plus one week - 14:30 to 18:30 daily (keyholder)
Grade: Scale 2 (3-4) - £24,027 - £24,404 p.a. pro-rata
Background checks: The Trust is committed to safeguarding; this post is subject to DBS Enhanced Disclosure, satisfactory references and pre-employment checks. An online search will be undertaken on shortlisted candidates. Shortlisted applicants will be asked to provide a self-declaration form.
Country/Context: The post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement.
