What are we looking for? Techex is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Partner Manager who is passionate and knowledgeable about the broadcast and media industry and a proven track record of creating long term, deep revenue generating partnerships. This newly created role will extend the current best in class hardware and software partnerships as well source, contract, and grow new technology partnerships. As a Techex Partner Manager, you will be expected to strategically manage some or all aspects of our wide variety of partnerships covering (Resellers, Suppliers, Systems Integrators, Cloud/hyperscalers, OEM relationships, Managed Service Providers, and overseeing the process for licencing of 3rd party software). This role works very closely with multiple parts of the business and closely with commercial account managers, leadership, and technical teams to manage and find new partner opportunities to help grow Techex. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record running a partner program that includes cultivating and maintain strong relationships with existing partners and sourcing new partners, growing and building a best-in-class partnership sales programs that lead to year over year increase in revenues. The Role The Partner Manager will be accountable for helping Techex develop new revenues and market opportunities by leveraging our extensive range of partners and by forging new partnerships. This covers global partners which includes some or all of: resellers, suppliers, Systems Integrators’, Cloud/Hyperscalers, licencing 3rd party software, Managed Service Providers and more. This is in addition to managing and cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with our existing Partner network. The role will include the following responsibilities: Work closely with Partners where Techex is responsible for the distribution of their technologies as part of Techex solutions, ensuring that revenue forecasting and pipeline is managed in close co-ordination with the partners. Collect and manage feedback to ensure we share information with partners, through regular structured forums/QBR’s. Identify opportunities to drive Techex reach through cloud and hyperscale partners. Work closely with Systems Integrators and resellers in markets which help support the distribution of Techex solutions, communicating important information on product features and taking feedback into our product development processes. Provide essential inputs to sales strategy and quotas and co-marketing opportunities. Develop joint business plans that outline shared goals, objectives, and strategies. Co-ordinate training and educational requirements between Techex and partners We are looking for great analytical skills to take a data led approach and analyse partner performance metrics, such as sales revenue, ROI, lead generation, and customer satisfaction and provide regular reports to leadership on partnership progress and results, as well as keeping current and sharing industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to deliver impact and success. The role will also represent Techex and its partnership opportunities at industry and partner conferences, trade shows, and events to build relationships and identify potential partners. What you will need - minimum Extensive partnership management experience in the broadcasting industry. The ability to learn and accurately represent low-level technical products with a range of partners and translate between Techex and Partners with a high degree of proficiency and accuracy. Strategically minded and able to build and execute short and long-term Partner plans across a complex ecosystem. Effective communication skills and the ability to demonstrate strong collaboration with partners, client leaders and internal colleagues. Develop and drive individual priorities and ensure key deliverables and timelines are met. Creative thinking and problem-solving aptitude as well as a using data to generate insights and actions. Strong written and presentation skills Preferred skills which will set candidates apart: Knowledge of audio-visual standards. Knowledge of compressed audio/video and media transport. Understanding of real time transport protocols such as RTP, UDP and MPEG-TS Strong understanding of cloud compute and transport.
