Person specification Knowledge Essential criteria Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Desirable criteria Knowledge of Electronic Staff Records (ESR) system Knowledge of NHS Qualifications Essential criteria 5 GCSE (grades A-C) or equivalent including English and Mathematics or relevant subjects, or proven experience through practice Desirable criteria Educated in a discipline requiring data and information skills Achieved or willingness to achieve European Computer Driving License (ECDL) or equivalent level Experience Essential criteria Experience of working in a customer-focused environment Experience of an administrative office environment e.g. maintaining records Desirable criteria Experience of working in administrative environment Previous NHS experience Personal attributes Essential criteria Demonstrates self-organization and time management skills Ability to work effectively as part of a busy team Demonstrates an understanding and application of the principles of confidentiality Ability to deal with situations which may require the application of tact and diplomacy, and that demonstrate a customer-focused, problem-solving approach Employer certification / accreditation badges
