We are currently looking for a Permanent Speech and Language Therapy Team Lead based in Cheadle Stockport.
Speech and Language Therapy Team Lead
37.5 hours per week | Term-time only (41 weeks)

Are you a passionate and experienced Speech and Language Therapist ready to take the next step in your career? Join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team at our school, where we support over 100 autistic students aged 5–19 through a holistic, neurodiversity-affirming approach.
About the Role
As our Speech and Language Therapy Team Lead, you will:
* Lead and manage a team of SLTs, providing clinical supervision and professional development.
* Oversee and develop high-quality therapy services aligned with best practices and school objectives.
* Manage a caseload of pupils with complex communication needs.
* Deliver assessments, interventions, and training to staff and families.
* Champion a neurodiversity-affirming model of practice across the school.
You’ll work closely with our Internal Therapy Lead and collaborate with a wide range of professionals including occupational therapists, psychologists, counsellors, and teaching staff.
What We’re Looking For
* A qualified and HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist.
* Significant experience working with children and young people with autism and complex needs.
* Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
* A commitment to inclusive, person-centred, and evidence-based practice.
