Store Manager Role
As Store Manager, you'll ensure your store is an inspiring place to shop, wowing customers with an excellent selection and friendly, knowledgeable service. You'll achieve this by leading and motivating a close-knit team, supporting, training, and developing them, and providing the tools needed to exceed sales and profit targets through outstanding customer service. Since we focus on service rather than hard selling, sales are driven by the quality of the customer experience. An interest in creativity or interior design is beneficial, as you'll assist your team in helping customers visualize their projects and bring them to life with in-store technology.
You will create the business plan and develop your team to increase sales margins. Managing all aspects of your store, you'll continuously seek improvements as an individual, team, and store. We're looking for ambitious Store Managers who aim for their store and team to be the best. That's the drive we value.
Every day offers new challenges—from getting creative to assisting traders. Tasks may include lifting tiles and putting away deliveries!
Who You Are
You have retail experience with full P&L responsibility and a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and strong financial results. You understand that sales stem from excellent service, which is central to our approach at Topps Tiles.
You are commercially aware, possess strong business acumen to stay ahead of competitors, and are a passionate, proactive role model. As a leader, you motivate performance through clear leadership, coaching, and effective people management.
