Role Overview
As the Lead Control & Instrumentation Designer (C&I), you will:
* Have great safety awareness and culture in all modifications involved in.
* Provide ownership, input, and guidance in the fundamentals of Control and Instrumentation design.
* Be technically competent in your discipline and actively maintain your competence according to standards, pursuing continuous professional development.
* Have experience in producing, checking, and approving deliverables that conform to all applicable industry engineering codes and standards, as well as the client’s policies and procedures related to the equipment specified. Sound knowledge of relevant commonly used codes is required.
* Understand and interpret system Process and Instrument Diagrams, fabrication drawings, and schematics.
* Lead a team of designers and coordinate work tasks to achieve required plan dates or be a senior/principal engineer seeking career advancement.

Candidate Profile
You’ll have experience in:
* On/offshore FEED and detailed design Control and Instrumentation surveys (preferred but not essential).
* Control and Instrumentation design experience, preferably in Oil & Gas.
* Software tools such as AUTOCAD, RasterCAD, MicroStation, Bluebeam.
* Producing and reviewing design deliverables like diagrams, schematics, reports.
* Knowledge of field instrument cabling and control system modifications.
* Vendor liaison experience.
* Experience in offshore/onshore oil & gas or similar industries.
* Knowledge of CE/ATEX and UKCA standards.
* Understanding of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems.

Qualifications
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Offshore BOSIET, MIST, and medical certifications preferred.
