Job Description
On behalf of our client, an Aerospace & Defence manufacturing business, we’re actively recruiting a Quality Engineer to join their team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of AS9100 and FAIRs processes.
Role
1. Investigating and responding to non-conformances.
2. Analysing quality data and working with the team to drive continuous improvement activities.
3. Ensure company approvals (AS9100, ISO14001 & NADCAP) remain in place.
4. Work closely with clients and suppliers ensuring the highest level of quality is maintained.
5. Assisting the Quality Manager in maintaining equipment and devices.
Skills
1. Good understanding of aerospace quality management systems (QMS).
2. Understanding of AS9100 and FAIRs process.
3. ISO9001, ISO14001 and Nadcap experience.
4. Experience with various inspection tools and the ability to understand inspection reports.
5. Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
6. Good understanding of sheet metal, welding, and fabrication techniques.
7. Competent with MS Office and SAP.
