Personal Assistant, Women & Children's Division, Band 4
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced administrator or personal assistant to support the Divisional Leadership Team within the Women & Children's Division at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be motivated, able to work independently, use initiative and be flexible in prioritising workload demands without direct supervision.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will work closely with the Divisional Leadership Team. Duties include organising diaries, arranging meetings with internal and external stakeholders, supporting divisional meetings and governance requirements, collating spreadsheets, supporting recruitment processes, minute keeping, and supporting cultural and leadership development. A strong general education and high literacy are essential, with proven proficiency in Microsoft Office packages. Experience in a similar role coordinating workload demands in a busy hospital would be an advantage.

Job responsibilities
The post holder is a key member of the team and is expected to provide high‑quality administrative and personal assistant support to the Divisional Management Team at all times; assisting them in ensuring they can function effectively and efficiently to meet agreed quality standards of patient care and performance as required.
We are looking for someone with strong administrative skills, including a good understanding and ability to use Microsoft Office packages. Good communication skills, the ability to work independently, and experience in a PA or administrative role are required.

Qualifications, Education and Training
* GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) for literacy and numeracy
* Educated to Diploma/Degree level or have an aspiration to study
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience of producing and presenting reports
* Experience of supporting administration and business management in a busy and changing environment
* Ability to analyse, interpret and report information clearly
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work with a range of different stakeholders
* Experience of using a range of different software applications
* NHS experience
* Governance experience
* Experience of creation and manipulation of databases
Skills & Abilities
* Excellent organisational and planning skills; ability to use initiative and prioritise workload for self and team
