About the Role
As a Design Delivery Manager at Cornerstone, your primary objective is to execute the design delivery and design approval process. A strong emphasis on site design knowledge is required to fulfil the role. Strong customer service is required and experience in supplier management. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that design projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining the required quality standards. You will foster strong relationships with suppliers, drive a cultural shift towards a "right first time" mentality, and contribute to Cornerstone's digital transformation initiatives related to design delivery. Key Responsibilities
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with design partners, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
• Champion a customer-centric approach to design delivery, understanding and exceeding customer requirements and expectations and providing an excellent customer service.
• Develop and implement strategies to enable and empower design suppliers, ensuring they have the necessary support to deliver safe and buildable designs within the required delivery timeframes.
• Possess a strong technical design background with expertise in mobile infrastructure site design, project processes and delivery.
• Stay informed about passive and active design guides and their implications for design delivery.
• Implement quality assurance processes to minimize design errors and rework, working towards a “right first time” delivery model.
• Review site design drawings and documentation in terms of availability and quality.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of CDM (Construction Design and Management) requirements, with the ability to review designs and identify potential health and safety concerns.
• Analyse design delivery metrics and key performance indicators to identify successes, improvement areas and potential issues.
• Utilise data insights to proactively intervene and resolve design issues to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Strong system management skills to ensure project delivery is accurately reported both internally to the Cornerstone customers.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase design productivity without compromising quality.
• Focus on meeting and exceeding SLAs by delivering projects within defined timeframes.
• Contribute to Cornerstone's digital transformation initiatives related to design delivery.
• Ensure efficient achievement of design delivery milestones by closely monitoring progress, proactively addressing issues, and overseeing design dependencies.
• Provide guidance and support to suppliers to help them meet and exceed Cornerstone's expectations.
• Collaborate with suppliers to identify areas for improvement and support their growth and development.
Skills and Knowledge
• Mobile infrastructure site design experience.
• Track record of successful design delivery
• Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
• Good commercial knowledge of the market place to ensure we are receiving value for money.
• Understanding of change management principals in the telecoms market.
• Experience in Telecoms site design / project management.
