Northern Ballet is looking for a Management Accountant to support the Finance Director in producing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts for the Northern Ballet group of companies.
Key elements of the role include supporting the development of a flexible budget modelling tool and the scoping and implementation of a new finance system.
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 pro rata per annum depending on qualification and experience plus benefits
Hours: Part-time (2 or 3 days per week)

Key Responsibilities
* Producing management accounts for review and discussion with the Finance Director.
* Assisting in the production of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
* Supporting the development of a flexible budget modelling tool for future planning.
* Supporting budget holders in managing their budgets.
* Providing advice on funding bids and financial elements to the Development team.
* Understanding operational areas across the group to support inter-departmental working and dynamic forecasting.
* Fostering a strong control environment and implementing necessary changes.
* Maintaining records and supporting in producing tax relief claims.
* Supporting the implementation of a new finance system.

What We’re Looking For
Essential Attributes
* Qualified CCAB/CIMA accountant
* Experience in producing group management accounts
* Great attention to detail
* Logical and methodical approach
* Excellent IT skills, especially Microsoft Office
Desirable Attributes
* Experience in charity accounting
* Experience with theatre or arts organizations, including TTR and FTR claims
* Experience with Pegasus Opera accounting software
* Full UK driving license

* Team-oriented and relationship builder
* Time management skills
