NSF’s Nutrition & Wellness division has built a strong reputation in the U.S., supporting sports nutrition, dietary supplement and wellness brands through high‑quality testing services focused on contamination risk, banned substances and product integrity. We are now expanding this capability across Europe and Africa, developing enhanced laboratory testing for sports nutrition and related products, delivered through our testing laboratory in Germany. This is a highly customer‑facing role, where you will be the technical voice of the business. Leveraging your scientific credibility and hands on laboratory experience, you will help customers and stakeholders understand the science, rigour, and integrity behind our testing programmes. A Technical Education & Industry Engagement Opportunity : Helping customers and stakeholders understand the science behind what we do Responsibilities Including, but not limited to: Acting as the technical subject‑matter expert for NSF’s Nutrition & Wellness testing services across Europe and Africa Explaining analytical chemistry, testing methodologies and scientific principles to customers, stakeholders and partners Supporting client discussions by providing scientific credibility and technical insight Delivering seminars, presentations and technical briefings to clients, industry groups and external stakeholders Representing NSF at conferences, trade shows and industry events as our technical spokesperson Supporting the development and refinement of testing services in collaboration with laboratory, quality and operations teams Engaging with regulatory bodies, sporting organisations and industry associations where relevant Translating laboratory capability and scientific detail into clear, customer‑focused value propositions Qualifications Degree‑qualified in a scientific discipline such as Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Food Science, Biochemistry, Nutrition or a closely related field Hands‑on laboratory experience, ideally within analytical chemistry or testing environments Strong understanding of laboratory testing principles, data interpretation and quality standards Confidence presenting complex scientific concepts to non‑technical audiences Comfortable working in customer‑facing and stakeholder-engagement settings Experience or exposure to contaminant analysis, including trace‑level detection of banned or prohibited substances (e.g. through LC-MS/MS or similar techniques), within food, supplements or regulated products would be highly beneficial Our Culture: At NSF, our mission is to improve human and planet health.
