Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct repairs and servicing on HGVs and mounted municipal equipment.
- Diagnose faults using computer-aided software.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections and ensure compliance with DOT specifications.
- Maintain high standards of work quality and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times.
Skills, Experience, and Education:
Communication:
- Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to write formal reports on technical issues.
Knowledge/Expertise:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance and repair of RCVs or similar equipment.
- Proven diagnostic skills and understanding of electronics and hydraulics.
- Current PLG licence and Year 3 C&G training or equivalent.
Innovation:
- Ability to work under own initiative and solve problems independently.
- Experience with reading wiring and hydraulic diagrams.
